PROJECT BRIEF

Create a series of illustrations of the animals found in the foundation.

Talarak Foundation, Inc. is an NGO focused on conserving and restoring endemic wildlife in Negros Island. They reached out to me after they saw a past sticker commissioned by a mutual friend.

There were 2 tasks in total: 1. 1 was to create a postcard of the list of animals they’ve provided and 2. Illustrate all the animals in my style. For #2, they were planning to create keychains and stickers out of the illustrations. They kindly provided me with brief descriptions and some images they took of the animals as a guide for me when I did the work.

This was overall a great project to work on! Talarak’s founders were very easy to work with. I’ve always wanted to work with an NGO and anything animal-related has always been something close to my heart.

My favorite was definitely this postcard that I worked on for their Christmas-themed merch. :)
