PROJECT BRIEF

Create a website design for Solaire’s main website. This will be the main platform used by all their clientele.

This was a project assigned to me by my higher up when I was still in Carbon Digital, Inc. We, unfortunately, didn’t get the account but it was very fun to work on this considering that I used the learning I had from Spiral to here - definitely cut the creation time to less than 8 hours.

The brief was to create a website for Solaire Manila to be used by all of their clientele. In it, they can explore restaurants, games, and such nested in different subpages.

If you think Solaire then it’s a luxury casino-hotel. They have different events like musicals and such. High-class amenities are all over the vicinity. You’re bound to enjoy your stay there.

One of the main things that I needed to highlight in the website was the membership card that I placed floating on the left side of the main screen so they see it asap. Another was to lay out the 3 bookings while maintaining the main navigation with the other sub navigations in one screen. This was a choice I had to make since the website itself was going to be gigantic and they also wanted to lay everything out in plain sight considering their usual clientele are of different age ranges.

In this study, I had to make sure to use Solaire’s main branding and then shift from dark to a little light so as not to tire the eyes and to give more depth to each section. I was also asked to create an inner page so the client can have another visual.

Overall: This was definitely a fun project and I enjoyed designing this since I got to use Solaire’s beautiful branding + all the golden elements I can cook up.
